That's right, ladies. It's time for the Alta Moda Bridal Sample Sale. It's the ONE DAY ONLY affair that has us giddy with glamorous glee.

ALTA MODA BRIDAL SAMPLE SALE

DATE Saturday, December 15 

TIME 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

LOCATION Alta Moda Bridal, 637 E. 500 South, SLC

SELECTION More than 50 couture wedding dresses to choose from! Designers include: Anne Barge, Augusta Jones, Modern Trousseau, Vera Wang, Monique Lhuillier and more!

PRICING Gowns start as low as $500 — with many under $1,000! 

HOW IT WORKS 

1. No appointments — first come, first served! (wait list)

2. There will be a line by 9 a.m.

3. Doors open at exactly 10 a.m.

4. Gowns are sold as-is — alterations not included. 

5. Only sample sale gowns will be on display.

6. No holds and all sales final — come ready to buy!

7. Most gowns are suited for street sizes (4-12).

8. Space is limited; only one or two key decision makers/guests per bride. 

9. Each bride will be able to select four gowns to start, and then she'll have 40 minutes with an experienced consultant.

Alter of Love

Do we love wedding gowns? (Answer: We love wedding gowns.) 


So when The Perfect Dress gave us an inside look at some of their fabulous frocks that met an alter-nate reality, how could we not share it with you? (Answer: We could not not.)


The local gem of a store has been altering wedding dresses since 1998, and they have eight (count 'em, eight!) in-house seamstresses who work side-by-side with the bride.  


"It is very important for the bride to feel confident about the type of alterations she envisions for her gown before she purchases it, and we have many options available to her so she does," The Perfect Dress says. "Our work speaks for itself!"


Here's a glimpse at how the store has taken some "beautiful befores" to "happily ever afters."
