A Pose Proposal

DEARLY BELOVED DETAIL Posing!

Let’s talk candidly.

Nobody likes a poser. But sometimes those natural shots need a little, well, push. Kenneth Linge, an internationally renowned photographer located in Orem, shares his expert tips for brides to look (and pose) their best.

Bend your body forward from the top of your legs — it will lend way to a more flattering, friendly shot.

Lift your tongue to the roof of your mouth — it will complement any face shape for both smiling and serious shots, and it will get rid of the unwanted double chin.

Walk into a pose — the most natural shots often come after natural movements.

Don’t stand straight to the camera — placing your body at an angle will minimize your hips. (You’re welcome, ladies.)

Spread your feet apart — if you’re wanting to look shorter than your honey. If you’d like to look taller, keep them closer together.
